Congratulations to Paige Entrican who just completed her undergraduate degree in astronomy. I had the pleasure of working with Paige alongside Greg Gilbert to understand the eccentricities of planets of different sizes. For this study to succeed, we had to perform detailed fits of ~2000 light curves. If only a small fraction of these fits failed, the integrity of the results would be compromised. Paige developed a custom visualization suite to inspect ~2000 light curve fits and worked with Greg to ensure every single one was reliable. I am so proud of the final result the three of us in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and you can read more about it here. Paige is spending the summer working on understanding a few touchstone exoplanet systems through transit-timing variations.
